romantic, shabby-chic vineyard wedding
Amanda and Chris are one of those couples that have been in the honeymoon phase for years. They have googly eyes while they look at each other and always carry a bashful smirk when they talk about each other. We took a year to plan their vineyard wedding at Upper Shirley Vineyards and they made the planning process easy and fun, with a focus on good food, strong drinks and plenty of love for their family and friends.
We wanted the natural backdrop of Upper Shirley to shine, so we had Rhea of Photosynthesis decorate the copper arbor from Paisley and Jade with lush greens and pops of ivory. We wanted the reception space to feel warm and cozy, but chic. Copper lanterns, rose gold votives and eucalyptus gave the tables an organic feel without getting too cluttered. The bride handled all of the beautiful hand lettering you see scattered around the event. The bistro lights from Leap really softened up the space for dinner and dancing.
